Candice grew up in Amarillo, Texas and moved to Lampasas in the summer of 2015 because her husband, Chris, became the Executive Pastor of NCC.  She has served in all areas of ministry, but her favorite area is kids because of how fun and full of energy they are.  She enjoys watching them grow in the knowledge of God and be bold in their faith without fear! 

Favorite Bible Verse: Ephesians 1:7-8.  In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.  

Family: Married Chris Valdez June 12, 1999.  They have two daughters, Abby and Allison.  Abby is attending the University of Texas Dallas in Richardson, TX and Allison is attending Amarillo College in Amarillo, TX.
